You may notice that much of Georgia isn’t seeing a flood of newcomers, except for areas around Metro Atlanta. In fact, nearly 60% of the state's population lives in the Piedmont region, which centers around Atlanta and its suburbs, leaving South Georgia with much less population growth. Let’s explore why so many people choose the northern half of the state over the south. Economic Opportunities and Job Markets One of the primary draws to North Georgia is its thriving economy. Atlanta, a major economic hub of the Southeast, offers a variety of job opportunities. It’s home to numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Coca-Cola, UPS, and The Home Depot, as well as tech giants like Microsoft and Facebook. - Taia BMy husband & I found Sarah from her informational videos on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, when we began researching the area. They were very helpful. We located from NJ to GA. We stayed in touch via phone, email, and zoom, until it came time for us to look in person, after we sold our NJ home. Sarah also connected us with her morgage partner, Alysia B. Alysia broke down the various loans and rates and crunch numbers for us over the phone and email. Before we started looking, we felt comfortable increasing our budget based on the strong sale of our NJ home. My husband & I pretty much knew what we were looking for, but were not sure if we wanted to live in Flowery Branch or Gainesville. Sarah's assistant showed us the list of homes prepared for us in both areas. On the first day, we found the one in Flowery Branch. Sarah worked with the sellers agent and within a week, offer was accepted. Jessa B. (Client Concierge) was very attentive to all the questions my husband & had during the process and was a pleasure. Overall, the process of buying a home and relocating went smooth with Sarah and her team. We are a little over a month in our new home and happy with the area we chose. One area of improvement would be their follow up responses for recommendations for contractors, businesses, etc in which Sarah's team offered assistance on twice in person and email. No response yet, but we moved on and found our own contractors.
